We took the Mauna Lani shuttle over here after a morning snorkel. Perfect for lunch. Food and service were good and you can't beat the view! We'll be going back here again.

Our experience at Napua came as a nice surprise. The restaurant is located on a protected cove and the atmosphere feels a little intimate. A handful of locals were sitting at the bar having a drink and listening to the Hawaiian singer/guitar player (who was excellent). A local woman got up and did a gentle hula to one of his... More

Nice location overlooking the public beach near the Mauna Lani hotel. Very friendly service (ask for Melissa!) and great mai tais. We also had dinner there one night and were very pleasantly surprised with the food - much more upscale than the casual lunch fare. Highly recommended.

Such an awesome place! When you go eat there, the fish tacos (at lunch) and the poke (at lunch and dinner) are great. The atmosphere is wonderful during the day and night. It can be breezy if not downright windy here...IT'S OCEANSIDE folks :) . Such offerings: the Mango Margarita is amazing with the li hee mung rim, as is... More

Wow! Awesome mango margarita! We stopped in for a drink after hiking for about 6 miles on the Shoreline trail. Maybe it was the fact that we were tired and thirsty, but my husband and I voted the Mango Margarita our favorite drink of the entire trip. The bartender was friendly and it was fun to sip our cocktails while... More

All the reviews are spot on all I can add is their lunch was so good we went back for a second round and we were only there for 3 days. I was all about the Shaved Ice Martini so that was the only picture I got, lol. Their fresh tuna salad sandwich and the poke are beyond fantastic. For... More

We spent 16 days of fine dining on the Big Island and Kauai and Napua stands out as the best of the best. We caught striped marlin that morning and brought it over to Napuas in the afternoon to give the chef time to work his magic. The chef/owner created a tasting menu that was extraordinary. It started with marlin... More

My sister and I asked a local about their recommendation for a "local" restaurant and they directed us to Napua. Now when he said a local spot on the beach with music, this was not what we expected. It was a very quiet, romantic, nice restaurant. The dishes were a little pricey (15 for a side salad) but to be... More

This restaurant is beyond words! We spent a lot of time dining here a year ago & it was always great...our family had a tough year after that, watching my dad battle cancer(successfully) my sister & I were making a day to day gift package for my dad while going through treatment & we asked napua to send us a... On a lovely Hawaiian evening, there is no place more romantic than Napua. Outside dining under the palms with an ocean backdrop...it is heavenly. We were warmly welcomed and thoughtfully served. The possibility of taking one's own wine may add to the appeal for some, but the house wine list is fine. We will definitely return to this "under the... More
