We were very pleased with the friendly staff at this cafe. They treated us like old friends and gave us suggestions from menu items when we asked. The food was excellent and the price very reasonable! We definitely highly recommend this restaurant.

Food was great. Selection was interesting and appealing. Service was sincere. May be a little pricey but I'm not familiar with island pricing

We were fortunate to stumble upon Pau after a tiring hike in the Waipio Valley. It's a small, casual restaurant, but the food was amazingly good! I ordered the Grinder sandwich, but it was no ordinary sandwich. Fresh, homemade bread that was slightly toasted for a nice crunch, fresh greens, tomatoe and onion that obviously came from the local area,... More

My son recommended Pau saying his friends at school enjoyed eating there. Our server, Kat, was very friendly and other than having the cheesy bread arrive after the dinner, the service was excellent. The 3 slice and salad was a good suggestion as we were feeding 4 teenagers too.

This is a really good, little restaurant. The huge salads are made with the freshest, beautiful, organic greens (locally grown) and vegans will be very happy with the delicious quinoa salad. Their pizzas have a very thin crust and are wonderful. They have local beers (in a bottle), a small but good wine selection, very attentive and friendly service, the... More

Salads are very good and large for the price.. all fresh ingredients.. have had the soups a few times.. the squash soup was to die for .. the... More

What a wonderful restaurant. It is a little place of the main road just outside of Waimea. What a nice surprise. Quick and friendly service and GREAT food. Had the 3 slice pizza with salad. Killer! Their pasta is also very good (not drenched in sauce) and the deserts are to die for. Homemade. One of the best value-for-money places... More

Outstanding food and smart wine selection. Management clearly put a great deal of thought into the menu...they could easliy double the prices and it would still be a 5 star value. Solid fare, not just pizza, which is excellent. Great local vibe. Would be wonderful for a date, or take the kids......

We enjoyed the hawaiian pizza and the vintners salad. Prices are ok. Nice place with good pizza. Great waitress.

Loved the unpretentiousness of this place. You get good pizza and pasta in a very casual atmosphere with reasonable prices. It's a bit of drive from Waikoloa but we worked up an appetite during the drive. Nice to be away from the resort for a change from expensive fancy dinners.
