“Great ice cream”

The ice cream was top notch (I had salted caramel, my wife had chocolate hazelnut), but the staff didn't seem that excited to see us. I wasn't horribly offended, but a warmer welcome would have been appreciated. This was our only stop while cruising through Hawi, but it served us well. More

This is a wonderful little spot that is so reminiscent of small towns in Hawaii, which we love! They have the best ice cream in the islands, Tropical Dreams as well as awesome coffee. Was biking today from Bineworks Beach and Sport in Waikoloa and was planning on turning around at Kawaihae, but when I saw the sign that said "Hawi 18 miles" I started thinking about those oat cakes and just couldn't resist. These folks were friendly and the coffee was great. The store is full of interesting things but their focus is on the food. We only stopped for coffee at this location and therefore we cannot offer any other insight. The shop next store offered a wonderful selection of items for the tourist. More
