Friendly service, buzzy place even midweek out of season. We didn't try any of the microbrews but they looked very interesting. Husband had the sirloin, which was ok but not brilliant, and a tad over the medium rare he had requested. The "creamy" mashed potato was unfortunately lumpy, not creamy. I had the chicken saltimbocca, which was nice. I especially... More

We ate at the Altitude in early June and had a couple of excellent burgers. The menu is extensive and the selection of locally brewed beers broad but we were in a hurry and not too hungry. Our burgers were well prepared and fries and onion rings very nicely done. We will return on our next stop in Laramie ..... More

Altitude is my favorite place for beef in downtown Laramie, but they also do quite a variety of sandwiches and occasional fish dishes. Their beers are a big part of the attraction. Recently, they've added some smaller brewing setups so they can experiment with small-batch beers before moving up to the big tanks. They always have a variety of seasonals,... More

My husband & I ate here may 15, 2013. It was the night of Wyoamericana concert which were in attendance. They were packed! Wait time alone was horrible, but they eventually squeezed us in at the bar. We had the pepperjack sticks and steak sandwich. It was melt in the mouth delicious. Just wish we could have actually sat to... More

We had the seared pork chops with creamy mashed potatoes. The portions were big and the pork chops were tendered and well spiced, though a bit dry!! The chili soup and pork soup were tasty- wish I had two bowls!!!! the atmosphere was nice but it was hot- they need to invest in some ceiling fans or a/c!!!! Grandma G... More

Visited twice, nothing special, and was sick afterwards both times. Not that the service was bad, or the atmosphere was lacking, but the food must not be cooked properly. Average in price, but value means nothing if you get sick.

A group of 4 visited this restaurant last week. After being stranded in Laramie due to inclement weather in Denver, this restaurant spark of sunshine on an otherwise dreary day. The menu had some appealing choices, and decided to go with the Ribeye steak. Ordered medium and cooked to perfection. This steak was very flavouful with out being too salty... More

We visited this restaurant for the first time last weekend when we were in Laramie. My family of three and our friend went there after a long day of skiing at Snowy Range. We were very hungry! The hostess placed us in the back of the restaurant. I would definitely prefer the front from what we saw of it, but... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by the front desk staff at our hotel even though the member of satff had not eated here personally but had 'heard really great things about it!' We were made to feel very welcome on our arrival and our server, Graham, was very efficient and helpful. We both had the steaks and they were... More

This is a nice establishment and that's what you are paying for. Food is good, service is bad, you can expect to wait at your table for 20-30 minutes before anyone knows you are there to eat. Then another 20 to be served another 20 for desert and forget about refills. For all of this you will pay an unheard... More
