While the service was grand, the food was much less so. Almost liked canned Italian I was forced to eat as a child.
We all felt like something other than the "normal" nice restaurant menu choices so we tried Nani's. We all had dishes that we were happy with, the atmosphere was relaxing with a kind of "country" feel. Service was excellent and friendly too. We will be back on our next visit.
So good we went 2 nights running. Brillaint huge cocktails at the bar. Ambience in the restaurant is much more restful than most restaurants in Jackson which tend to be very very noisy. Easy to park. All dishes are individually made to order with only fresh ingredients. Italian flatbreads are good to start and we added a side of their... More
Their patron management system was good. Waitress, Heather, was friendly and enthusiastic. The food was somewhat average, though. My "Norms" eggplant pasta dish was gummy. My wife's pesto dish was better. There are many other items on the menu, others may have been more to my liking. I would not shy away from trying something else.
We ate at Nani's twice during our 10 day stay to Wyoming for our honeymoon. The first time we found it by chance on the google "local" app on a smart phone. We did not have a reservation, but were able to be seated within minutes (it was around 7-8pm on a Tuesday in September). I had the best Alfredo... More
We didn't have a reservation for this restaurant and the place was packed. We really wanted to eat here so we gave the hostess our name and sat at the bar. It took about 45 minutes to finally get a table, but we some nice people in the waiting area, so it was a nice wait. We finally got a... More
My husband and I decided to try Nani's Cucina Italiana for our anniversary dinner. We were immediately greeted by a friendly hostess and seated right away. Our server was Willie and he did a fantastic job! I had the spaghetti and meatballs and my husband had the lasagna and we shared a bruschetta with mascarpone, figs and arugula. We both... More
We were looking forward to visiting Nani's after reading the reviews, but were disappointed. We booked a table, but still had to wait. The gorgonzola salad had no gorgonzola in it, and very little flavour. The seafood pasta owed much to heating up the contents of a jar. Poor value for money, can eat better elsewhere in Jackson.
We were in Jackson for three nights. We ate here to celebrate a birthday. We had Spaghetti & Meatballs. The meatballs were quite tasty and the sauce contained fresh ingredients. Salads are good with a nice dressing. We enjoyed a glass of their house wine. Hard to find but worth the effort. Prices pretty much in line with everything Jackson
