Description: Join us for casual, small plate dining & fireside cocktails in our decadently furnished 1885 mansion. In the spirit of the great lakefront "cottages" of yesteryear, the BAKER HOUSE has recreated a world of Gilded Age living where grand entertaining is experienced daily and lavish parties are thrown nightly. Sing along at the player piano in our music room, play poker in the game room, savor fine wine in our library and dine fireside in our parlor. Instead of traditional restaurant seating, guests are served in plush wing backed chairs and overstuffed fringed couches throughout the mansion. Our menu of small plates is conducive for lounging and sharing & features many regional items such as Wisconsin artisan cheese boards, savory charcuterie, seasonal fondues and heartier favorites like sirloin sliders and robust garden paninis. Situated on the East shore of Geneva Lake with panoramic views of the lake and Riviera. For an extra special evening, book a second floor mansion hotel suite!

The Baker House in Lake Geneva Wisconsin is a restaurant and experience extraordinaire. The decor is somewhere between 1890 and 1920. Completely authentic with costumed wait staff, you are drawn back to another era. Oh, and by the way, the food-wonderful! We went for Sunday Brunch and the food is plenty, always being refreshed, by Great Gatsby dressed hostesses. You... More

This is a lovely old house, really done up in great style! We dined on the porch which despite facing due west at sunset on a hot day was nicely air conditioned. We wore our best duds and New Orleans hats, and were quite comfy. Cocktails were well made and nicely presented. Wine list was a little limited, but adequate.... More

The house is a very unique place to dine. It's beautiful and fun, we loved the piano player, it's a great location, however the food was nothing spectacular and was just okay. I would go back for drinks but probably not to eat dinner.

Went last night for a drink and the bartender Scot was awesome! The drinks were perfect and he was so nice to my wife & I that we will be going back on many of our trips. Next time we will try dining. The place is so cool and relaxing. Great throwback..... Keep up the great work.

We went to Baker House for cocktails. We didn't eat in the restaurant but got a tour. Definately would love to eat there on our next visit. The bar had a fun atmosphere. The service was great. Loved the piano player.

I am literally stopping mid-meal to write this review. Amazing! Absolutely Delicious! Elegant! Eggs Benedict made to order and to die for! Rather everything is to die for! Don't be chased off by the $25 per person price. I would have no issues easily paying $30-35 . You are making a grave mistake if this is not on your trip... More

This old mansion circa 1885 houses an owner, a small B&B and a restaurant. From the outside the house is magnificent and very picturesque. The restaurant occupies the main floor and consists of about half a dozen rooms all with their original, opulent woodwork, chandeliers, fireplaces, etc. It was great just being able to wander around and admire the beauty...
