The seafood app. was fantastic A meal in its self and for a good steak you cant get better in Charleston for my money. The sevice was beyond excellent. Very profesional and friendly
The food here is wonderful and the staff is very attentive. Great atmosphere for discussing business.
I will give The Chop House an average rating because the servivce was very good but the main entree was poor. The chef needs a cooking lesson on how to prepare lobster. My companion and I both had ours ruined. Australian Lobster is a delicacy and the chef totally over cooked it to unedible proportions. The service was quite good... More
For an amazing meal, excellent service and downtown convenience (with valet parking even), this place is hard to beat! Highly recommended for steak lovers but the seafood is excellent too. Although family friendly, the atmosphere is probably better suited for couples, friends and business (or solo) events. It is a bit pricey but, of course, you get what you pay... More
This was my second visit to The Chop House and although expensive it was another enjoyable evening. I made a reservation and was seated promptly at a nice table. My server was experienced and knowledgeable. He recommended a wine and helped with the ipad menu because mine was not working properly. Ended up having to replace it. I have a... More
We took our whole family to The Chop House this evening to celebrate our three granddaughters' birthdays. Tabitha, our server, was excellent, as usual. She took care of each of us with great professionalism and friendliness, including the youngest at three years old. We all enjoyed our various entrees of fish, steak, and chicken. The sides were all plentiful and... More
Top Notch Restaurant in Charleston, West Virginia. Probably the best as there is not much else to compare it to. Service was excellent. Our waitress was Jaime and she did a great job. Steaks were delicious and rank in my top ten. Location is great as it is adjacent to the mall. Highly recommend eating here.
This is the unapologetically rich and indulgent steakhouse Jock Ewing would have been comfortable with as a daily go-to. The dark wood paneled rooms and dim lighting provide a masculine ambience similar to a Morton's. Also unapologetic is the Chop House logo, which is very obviously a bull rather than a cow. The service is excellent, as it should be.... More
