Love the Red Hot, great place for lunch or an evening out for a drink. The hot dogs are very unique, yet simple and not overpriced. The beer selection is on point, many local beers as well! The staff has always been friendly and the food comes quickly. The only real downside is the space is rather small, so it's... More

LOVED the Italian Beef here, but alas, no more. Haven't been back since they dropped it off the menu. The Tacoma is a good sub in for a solid Chicago dog.

Loved the wide choice of dogs and local on tap beers. The prices were very reasonable and the service was spot on. Please, please, please try the Ruston Ragin Cagun (andouille sausage, onions, bbq sauce, special sauce $4) with cream cheese instead of slaw. Epic creation! If you are looking for fancy, formal, or pretentious, go somewhere else. If you... More

I see a review for The Red Hot that is titled Rude Staff. This guy obviously frequents places that have table service and multiple servers working. This is a family owned and operated joint with a lot of local color and all the attitude that goes along with it. It's rare that this place isn't slammin' busy but it is... More

Some staff are rude. Terrible service, and lack of management and organization. If you like standing around and receiving sub-par service, go to this place to eat. The place across the street, however, is highly recommended. Food at Red hot is pretty good, but ,again, service is lacking.

This was a nice little hot spot for us when we lived in Tacoma. It's cozy in the winter and we counted in the Nachos or Frito pie as our basic starter. Their dogs are great and wether go with a Chicago or with other local favorites it's never disappointing. The service is what is to be expected... Head to... More

I've been going to Red Hot for about a year and a half and I really like it. The people are laid back and friendly. The food is really, really good. We've tried pretty much everything on the menu. I recommend the Hilltop Strangler hot dog (it has cream cheese and bacon on it - yummy) or the BLT -... More

I'm not a drinker, but I enjoy Red Hot. The staff is so friendly that I don't mind going by myself. I am always made to feel welcome. If you thought that eating a hot dog couldn't be a new experience...think again. These guys come up with some crazy combinations.

The Red Hot is a neighborhood bar. They serve up hot dogs with all sorts of toppings, the menu lists most of them at around $5 or less. Seems to be quality beef, interesting topping combos. It's an ale house, so lots of micro brews on tap, they're listed on a chalkboard near the bar because they change a lot.... More

The hot dogs were delicious and I can see why this hot dog place ranks in the USA's best. I was pleasantly surprised by the vast beer menu and choices for local brews. Prices were reasonable. The wait staff are cheery and open to talk about the place and local area beers. The only negative thing I could say is... More
