Good: Traditional favorites. Not your typical food. It's fun to try different things when dining out. Some of the very best German potato salad I've ever had. Rouladen was excellent. Tender, nicely seasoned without overdoing the pickle. The hangover soup is delicious. Amaretto cake was light and just a little slice of heaven. Service quick and friendly. Easy to get... More

A friend and I linked up for dinner and Bruno's was a perfect place. We both had Jaegar Schnitzel, with cucumber salad, spaetzle, and German potato salad. We both enjoyed the food but agreed that the schnitzel was overly salty. Good service.

Heard about this restaurant on Triple D. Went with friends to try it out. Three of us had a schnitzel variation and the fourth had the roloudan. Everything was very good and tasted like the German food I'm used to in Germany. We have since recommended it to many of our friends. It's a small restaurant and they don't take... More

First, the food here is very good, affordable and the portions are just right, The Kielbasa is very good, probably the best I had in many years. We (four of us shared our orders) also had the Bruno's Schnitzel, Cabbage roll and Potato Pancakes (Latkes) which were all very good as well. The staff was wonderful, friendly and accommodating ...... More

We went here on a Saturday night at 5:30 and the place was packed! We waited about half an hour or so, but it was worth the wait. The food was outstanding and so was the service. Make sure and try the hangover soup. It is yummy!!

My family and I had the 'Pickled Soup' which sounds odd, but as reported by my 9 year old son, "It's the best soup I've ever had!" That says alot coming from a kid! I had Bruno's Schnitzel, German Potato Salad, and Saurkraut. All 3 were OUTSTANDING. This was hand's down the best potato salad I've ever had, and the... More

My wife and I always enjoy trying restaurants that offer the cuisines of our German and Polish heritage, so we were exicted to “discover” Bruno’s European Café. I put “discovered” in quotes because our discovery came via Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, which recently visited this small spot off Highway 512 and Pacific Avenue in Tacoma. We had lunch... More

I have serve over three (3) years in Germany and you will that Bruno's is as close as you can get to authentic German Food. I lived on the economy in a small village in Giessen Germany and have experience the local and city food that was offered. Bruno's European Cafe is a wonderful place to eat and it offers... More

My Dad was born in Posnyn, Poland and Mom in the Ukraine. So when I first entered this "European" Restaurant - I noticed the specific Polish-German Cuisine offerings. Since both of my parents counted themselves as Germans (even though they were born outside of Germany), I felt at home with each dish I have ever had at this place -... More
