We heard that Genos had changed ownership and decided to try it. Not at all disappointed. Great food. Lots of interesting combinations on their fresh sheets. Everyone in our party was pleased with their choices. Give yourself a treat...try a desert...they change, too. Casual atmosphere. Friendly service. More

We decided to have dinner here after attending a Gonzaga women's basketball game. When we arrived there was a small waiting line and the restaurant was busy. The staff was a little shorthanded but we got a seat in the bar. Our server, Jaime, did a great job as she was helping out in the main dining room as well... More

We recently stopped in to try Genos, but were unable to get any service. It was pretty full when we walked in and there was one couple waiting, but no host/hostess and no signs that said seat yourself. There's a computer at the entrance that looks like something a host/hostess would use to track tables, but nobody. We chatted with... More

I judge all Italian restaurants by their veal parmesan. Geno's failed miserably when I was presented a ground and heavily breaded veal patty, with sauce only (no mozzarella). Strike one. My wife ordered a "homemade" pizza that was about as good as frozen pizza made at home, no pun intended. Strike two. Then I got the check. Strike three, and... More

Geno's has great classic italian food. My favorite is the spaghetti and meatballs, but they also have great ravioli. Just like my italian grandma makes. More

I am not sure why people are slamming this place. It is a wonderful reasturant that puts the food above all else. The atmosphere is great, very old school vibe and the food is wondeful, red sauced italian american classics. Dont come here looking for pesto and gnochi! ITs all about sauce, chesse, and italian sausage. Get the lasgana, you... More

Do not waste your time or money at this place. The very dimly lit dining room (with red lights) aims to mask the terrible food. You will be eating tag-board pizza, albertson's french bread (the best food there) and spaghetti that resembles mush. It is so bad that terrible isn't a low-enough rating option. Make sure to have the wine... More
