This is the third time I have been to this bakery. It is a great place to sit and eat a sandwich or to take out. I can't even begin to describe the wonderful, fresh pastries and cakes. I took home a chocolate cheesecake for a birthday and it was a chocolate lovers dream! I will be back!

Best bakery in Olympia. Great lunch as well. Staff is very friendly, salads and sandwiches are great. Homemade soups everyday. Reasonable price. I go regularly for lunch during the week.

I go for special occasions and when company is in town. I go by at the least once a month. I will keep going. I have never heard a thank you or been given a smile from staff. They are not outright rude but they ignore you or stare at you as you make your selections. It's either a type... More

Longtime German style restaurant with good donuts and cinnamon bread and lovely looking cakes. They have expanded to provide a good lunch and are popular with folks working on the Capital campus. A must for your Christmas morning brioche or coffee cake.

Who knew that there is a great German bakery in Olympia. I didn't and I live 25 miles away in Tacoma. This is the real deal. this was my first visit but it won't be the last. Real German pastries and (gasp) real european tortes. Not exactly cheap but well worth the price of admission. They also have day old... More

We have a small satellite location of Wagners in our office building. They always have the most decidant, rich desserts that make your mouth salivate the minute you come into the building. Flaky crusted pies, ooey gooey donuts and cinnamon swirl bread that is awesome toasted with butter.

I wanted to like this place more, as the atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the aroma grand. We ordered sandwiches for lunch - the llittle cake that came with that sandwiches was wonderful, but the sandwiches were just OK (we had the veggie and the triple decker grilled cheese, which is three slices of BREAD, not cheese...too much bread,... So many excellent, delicious bakery items, the cinnamon bread is amazingly spicy and good, black forest cake and other cakes, tarts, available. There is a deli where you can order lunch and have it there in a nice atmosphere.

I make a point to stop here whenever passing by Olympia. The selection quality and price of their baked goods are something Seattle sorely needs. They have awesome cinnamon rolls, almond crescents, muffins, doughnuts, breads, etc. They also have day-olds on sale for incredible prices (like 2 breads for $4 or bag of muffins for $2). I haven't tried the... More
