Stopped here on our way to Vancouver BC, Its very close to the highway and easy on and off helped. Great sandwiches, all fresh and super combinations. we added a fresh baked cookie. Service was fast and super helpful. Would stop again if we ever pass Olympia!

Stopped and had a soup and salad for lunch with a colleague the other day, first time in the 5th Ave Sandwich Shop. I was pleasantly surprised as many downtown Olympia establishments are less than desirable for business appointments due to the influence in the area of TESC and other bums. Service was solid and the food tasted great, with... More

I have really wanted to like this place, but whenever I have tried to eat there, I find really mediocre food with very little interesting choice for the vegetarian, or for someone who wants something other than the old-fashioned turkey sandwich or burger choice. I want their soups to be healthier and less thick and starchy, I want their menu... More

This is a place that feels like home. A warm comfortable place with the best staff. Owners family are waiters and waitresses and are the Very Best at what they do. The sandwiches are fantastic and I love the pasta salad. The homemade desserts are the best. It's a lunchtime favorite so come a bit early to ensure you get... More

My husband and I have become regulars here over the 3 years we've lived in town. We have tried a number of things on the menu, all of which have been quite tasty, but my very favorites are the monstrous club sandwich and the (Friday special) clam chowder. My husband loves the BLT. Very kid friendly. Fantastic, friendly service.

Went with my granddaughter at lunch time. Children's platter was on target: grilled cheese, spaghetti-o's, and drink. I had grilled cheese on old fashioned whole wheat. I also had coffee and a cinnamon roll the size of a loaf of bread that was so delicious, I ordered a few to go to take back to family.

This looks like a worn out place from the outside, but so glad we saw it on Tripadvisor. Best BLT I have ever had-my husband had the Reuben and was also amazing. Homemade bread-yum. If we werent so full, might have taken one of the cinnamon rolls with us! There's always next time.Excellent value

Good food, good value and everything is homemade... NO corperate America here! Our food was so yummy and welcome from the cold weather outside. We are visiting from Colorado and came based on the reviews of past eaters. Great reviews, great food! Well worth it.

The service was great.Reuben was something to die for. Best one I have since Chicago, It is rare in the PNW to find any sandwiches as good as these. Do visit. It iw worth the trip.
