Good Food. Bit high on the prices. It's the classic old time burger joint. Gets very crowded at lunch. Winchester Institution for over 50 years.

We were visiting Winchester for the Winefest weekend. We spent Friday walking the mall area and the historic sites. We were debating, walking back and forth and decided to try the Snow White Grill. It is a tiny place, some limited seating out front with a take out window. We opted to go inside and sit at the counter. It...

What a cute little establishment, conveniently located on the Winchester Pedestrian Mall! We bought a bag of cheeseburger sliders, fries, and a couple of large drinks for less than $30 and easily fed four. While limited indoor seating is available, we opted to order at the small window and get our order "to go." Service was pleasant and fast. Yes,...

My husband really liked the burgers. I don't like onions in my food --yes, I know, I'm not in the majority--so I wasn't as fond of the food as he was.
However, visiting this little burger place is a great experience. You sit on a stool at the counter and watch the burgers being freshly cooked. You can talk with...

Went to SW Grill on Feb 23, 2013. Debit card swiped for wrong amt 100x the original bill, close to $2000 dollars. The visa company, "Square", inadvertently charged the wrong amount. The owner would not fax my bank to resolve the issue. It has been 5 days now since this mistake. And it is still not resolved. My advice is...

The food here is great. I also love the rustic pictures of what the walking mall looked like in the 40s and 50s.
Experience a local lunch counter that's pretty much the same as when frequented by Patsy Cline. For Baby Boomers, it's a trip back to your childhood.
If you like sitting in a freezer drinking a icy coke and eating hamburgers on a metal chair, then Snow White is your place on a Cold Winter night. Summer, Spring and Fall is one thing but when it's 30 degrees outside don't wate your time parking, walking in the cold only to be told the inside is closed and...

Hello Larry! I apologize for your late night experience. Believe me, we would like to offer indoor seating in the colder months (actually we do now until @10pm) but the problem is not with the dishes but with the behavior of our guests! When we first started the late nights, we did allow folks inside during the entire shift but...

Dont miss this total 50's experiencs..Step inside this tiny diner and find only a counter top w/about 12 bar stools to sit upon...That's it!! No restrooms either. They suggested their library, and , that was a treat to visit too.
What nostalgia here..I loved everything about it...the old advertising pics on the walls, the simplicity of the menu...great tasting mini-burgers...excellent!!...

This is the old time counter service burger joint that you don't often find anymore. It has very limited seating on chrome/vinyl stools at a long counter. If you visit at lunch hour, you may have to wait - but it will be worth it because the mini-burgers (complete with grilled onions and a pickle) are really tasty. Many customers...
