We had a wonderful dinner in this restaurant, an unexpected find in Williamsburg. The decor was sophisticated, the owner was gracious and enthusiastic, and the food was delicious.
We chose the "Crazy" tasting menu, six courses in all. My favorite courses were the foie gras on brioche and the six-piece dessert. When the owner saw that my husband knows wine,...

If you are on the mood for a truly artistic experience this the place. If you are hungry after a day of sight seeing with the kids, it is not. There is only a choice of 3 entrees that switch every several weeks so if you saw one in the photos submitted here (like I did, alas it will not...

What an extraordinary restaurant! Art Cafe 26 has everything going for it -- incredible, creative cuisine with beautiful presentation, ambiance, and an attentive, gracious staff and owner who is passionate about what she does. Very cosmopolitan -- reminds me of a few of my favorite places in Salzburg and in Berlin. I particularly love the croissants, fresh salads, scones, omelettes,...

Stopped in for lunch earlier this week, after hearing rave comments from some friends in who live in Williamsburg.
I can truthfully say that this was the best Austrian cuisine I've had since I spent a summer studying German in Salzburg and Vienna years ago.

Another restaurant owner suggested we stop in at the quaint Euopean Art Cafe location in the Newtown area of Wiliamsburg. On Saturday night we did and we able to snag an early table to try a quick soup course as we had reservations elsewhere that evening.
The presentation is very important to Europeans and our soup course did not disappoint....

Excellent food, energetic but harmonious atmosphere and impeccable service. Art Cafe 26 has become our local 'go to' spot for dining offering personable but professional service and creativity in atmosphere and food presentation.
The Chef seems to be both culinary genius and artist---a blend of Einstein and Picasso; everything he creates is both a work of art and a perfect...

The owner is a hands on person and is there almost all the time. Paintings from featured artists are on the wall. They are for sale. The food is great but the menu could be larger. Service is good. Parking could be a problem. However its a wonderful place to eat.
Cool space, good food, interesting all around. The ambiance is comfortable, and the art is ever-changing.
