The back room (and garden in spring and summer) open only from 11 AM to 2 PM. Food is really good with cutsey names like "Pita, Paul and Mary" but always fresh, delicious and tasty. Good soups too.

This wine shop has an excellent café in the back, including a delightful garden area. We stopped for lunch on the way from Blacksburg to Shenandoah National Park. Sandwiches, salads, crepes are all prepared with fresh ingredients and lots of care. We also purchased wine from the specials in the wine shop. Clerk was very helpful in our selection.

The food has always been good at The Purple Foot. We like to go when the weather is good so that we can sit outside in the back of the restaurant. The landscaping with water features makes for a relaxing atmosphere for dining. Nice to have a non-franchise option for food and seeing the travel photos inside the building adds... More

interesting little place to dine for lunch. Different choices on the menu. preparation was quick. There is a shop inside the restaurant or maybe it is vice verse. either way there is a certain charm that is worth visiting.

This place is only open for lunch and is a great little place. They have an amazing Reuban Sandwich! They have something for everyone and the deserts are very good. I would also check out the wine selections and purchase some bottles to take home with you. Love the wines from South Africa.

This is a very popular place in town with fancy sandwiches and good wine. Small and inviting atmosphere with a friendly staff. This is a good place for lunch.

If it's a weekday and you are looking for a spot to have lunch in Waynesboro, this is one of your best bets. Sandwiches, salads, and baked potatoes (but not like any baked potato you have ever had!) it is simple, and similar to food you are used to or would have at home. Comforting, fast (as long as you... Whether you eat indoors or in the garden, food is just wonderful. There's a gift shop in front with many wines. Give this restaurant a try - you won't regret it.

They only serve lunch. Service was friendly and fast. Don't forget to order before you go to the wonderful patio. I had crab crepes, Delicious sauce; asked for a slice of their perfect Italian bread to sop up. Wow. They should change menu's "snow crabs" in the crepe, because it was the (still good) crab sticks made from fish. Spouse... More

Not much on the menu besides sandwiches but what they make they make well. Also a nice wine inventory and outside dining area weather permitting
