I've only ever been to the downtown location (not the one listed here on Williamson) but this is one of my FAVORITE restaurants in Roanoke. The food is good, but what makes it awesome is the salsa bar. 9-12 different types of salsa that you can go up and fill yourself, mix, whatever. Always full on the salsa before I... More

I have no idea how this got so high up on the list, maybe we ordered the wrong thing.... The service wasn't an issue, everyone was courteous and quick. The salsa bar was boring to say the least.... The food was not good and even my frozen margarita was bad. The only good thing was my husband bottle of beer...... More

Out geocaching with the husband and the hunger hit. Looked up good Mexican restaurants and found this gem. Would have given a 5 but they are a tad slow. The Tinga is to die for and is a 5+. The salsa bar is fun as well wish tripadvisor had a 4.5 level.

I was recently in Roanoke for their annual Marginal Arts Festival, a grand avant romp of experimental performances and collaborations, and I had at least half of my meals and several happy hours (both official and otherwise) at this excellent restaurant. Great prices, extensive menu, lunch and dinner specials and a tap beer in an iced mug the size of... More

The food was very good and the size of the meal reasonable. The resaurant was packed (it was a Friday night) so we spent about 15 minutes walking down Williamson Road (no other restaurants looked as good) and when we came back a few tables were available. Service was very good. The highlight of the restaurant is their salsa bar:... More

Love the food, people and atmosphere! Prices are reasonable. Salsa Bar is Nice. Cheese Dip and guacamole dip is the best I've ever had. Temprature is a little cool is the only thing I would suggest keeping an eye on.

They have a great salsa bar and a really reasonable selection, especially for lunch. Everyone is always smiling and polite too, makes a big difference!

There are far better Mexican restaurants in Roanoke. Everyone touts the salsa bar but frankly, I don't think it's that exciting. Also, it annoys me to have to get up and trek across the restaurant just to get a shot glass worth of salsa. The food is mediocre and I'm always dubious of a place that offers a mix of... More

but there are others that are better. The prices are good and the atmosphere was good too. All in all I'd choose another Mexican restaurant before this one.
