Went there for lunch and no lights were on and it was about 50 degrees inside as it was outside. The owner was the waiter, cook, and cashier. My fries got cold before I could eat them because it was so cold in there and I kept my coat on the whole time. Prices are too high for the food... More

This is the second time my wife and I went here and it was just as bad the second time as the first time. First thing to note it was freezing in there. It was about 50 degrees outside and inside wasn't too far off. I ordered the pork BBQ platter and I thought I was getting a sandwich but... More

We tried this little local's "joint" in looking for something cheap, good but substantial enough to hold us over until dinner after a 10 mile hike. This was a wonderful little locals spot! Great price, great BBQ and memories of basketball and football teams thru the years posted on the walls. Very comfortable and good eats. More

We were halfway through a 9 day motorcycle trip and were passing through orange to get to Gettysburg. Stopped at the garage and asked where to eat and they sent us here. We both got pulled pork and, since I'm a wimp, we got the mild and sweet BBQ sauces. Both were good, but the mild was the best BBQ... More

Went here for breakfest about a year ago, the owner was actually our waitress. Being a vegatarian the only thing on the menu that I was able to eat was a grilled cheese in the kids section. I know resturants dont usually allow adults to order from kids menu but i asked if she could make an exception since it... More

We arrived in Orange, VA at 8:55 at night, passing several fast food chain type stores, and finally noticed the Hornet's Nest. The sign on the door says they close at 9 pm, but the owner insisted we come in for dinner. Only 13 tables, and the decor is geared towards local high school memorabilia... and one 'Bama flag, where... More

My family enjoys this little restaurant mostly because they have great ribs, are friendly and take good care of us. It is basic food, hometown atmosphere, not expensive and we like supporting a local business. More
