After eating so many greasy french fry meals, we were delighted to find a real restaurant with great "panfiredcod" (they pronounce it like it's all one word) with veggies (usually as further travels proved - peas & carrots) and a true salad. Gros Morne is a fantastic area but is vast. Trout River is one of many little seaside villages where it just so happens there is a fantastic restaurant serving some of the best fresh seafood I have eaten anywhere. We all had lobster which was fantastic. Well worth the drive!! More
