We stumbled across this little restaurant whilst wandering through Corralejo.
The restaurant was empty with only a few locals sitting outside having a drink, which is not always good sign.
But, it was quiet season and fairly early in the evening for Spanish diners, so we took a chance.

My friends and I were trying to go visit El Andaluz, after having seen reviews on tripadvisor.
We had a very bad first impression of el andaluz, menu had no variety, and they were not too happy to make us eat as we arrived at 10:00 (which seems to be to me a very reasonable time for a saturday!).

La Marcelina is a little local restaurant on Calle Ballena - opposite La Andaluz and the Rogues Gallery bar.
When we went in it was empty but we were so glad that we stayed as the food was very good (only being beaten by Caracoles and equal to La Scarpetta in our top three from the fortnight).
