We just love this restaurant and John the owner. The food is outstanding and so is the service. A hidden small gem of a restaurant along a back road in Quateria very worth a visit or two, we went twice on our last holiday in May. John takes care of all his customers in the same way, each and every... More

Six of us dined here while on holiday early May. Although very quiet, you could not fault the place. Service was discrete and the food was exceptional. Great advice regarding wines, and a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

We dined here on two occassions about 4/5 years ago and we thought the food was excellent.Just over one week ago,on 21st.April,2013,when on a trip to Vilamoura,we revisited in the hope that it was still as good as we remembered.Indeed it was,& even probably better. It's not cheap, but they do try unusual dishes here.Fish with orange,my wife's choice,& fish with cooked... Have been coming to the Algarve for about 20years and we try not to leave out this restaurant on our list of places to go. John is very a very good host and his team consistently serve very good local cuisine. Great night out!

Been coming to the Algarve for over 10 years and having never been, thought we would give it a try. An overall unsatisfying experience as the price didnt reflect either the level of service or the food. The service was slow and the food nothing to write home about. Sorry, wouldn't go back, would rather go to Bem Bom if... More

Another older couple arrived.Service very slow. The owner,i suppose by the way he spoke with us, liked to drag the night out.Food average.Price does not reflect it.Very pricey.First and last experience with this one. Great food and service. 2 persons 1 entree, 2 mains, 1 bottle wine, 1 desert for 2, about 80 euros. Not exactly economic, but definitely going back sometime.

Having previously eaten at Jorge do Peixe and Mr Freddie's we were rather disappointed with O Arco. It simply was not up to their standard. The excellent ice cream did not redeem the fish suffocated by a mass of crushed almonds, average starters and very average lamb cutlets.
