There's a reason this place is number 1 for the area. The first thing you notice is the exceptional decor. It was both elegant and cosy, making for a very comfortable dining experience. Family-owned, they gave great service, nothing was too much trouble. And of course the food was wonderful. This is a must for anyone visiting the region.

We have been traveling around Italy for nearly two weeks, and today we visited Gallo Nero Resturant in the little tuscan village called Greve, and I must say it was by far the best food we have had since we have been here. Mains were also good - my wife had...

Gallo Nero is another lovely place to visit while in Greve, they are known for their cuts of steak, but truly the best part of their menu is their desserts. Tiramisu to die for

I have been together with my wife and friends at Enoteca Gallo Nero on March 2012. The place is awesome and the food is wonderful. Lucia, the owner of the restaurant was very king and suggested a great Chianti wine. We had the chance to meet nonna Du, responsible for cooking the delicious dishes.
I really recomend the Enoteca Gallo...

Our hotel, Villa Vignamaggio, recommended this restaurant to us, and what a gem it is. This family run restaurant is very spacious and beautifully decorated. Tables are well spaced so you have plenty of privacy. The menu was well detailed and a big range to choose from. We alway like to try the food local to the area, and have...
