My wife and I were regulars here when it opened. Changes to the menu have not been for the better. The specials can be good, but for the most part the menu we enjoyed in the past has gone. A side salad, which used to be offered with the hamburger as an option, is now an additional cost. Prices have... More

The service here was really great. Our waiter was very friendly, informative, and checked up on us frequently which was great. The food was SO good but very filling after a beer. The only thing I was disappointed in was their brewed beer. I came here for the beer not the food but the food ended up being incredibly good... More

Had lunch there and was impressed with the atmosphere, the food, and the service! I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone.

I have gone here several times now, including right after it first opened. I admit that upon my first visit, I was incredibly disappointed with the place. The menu was so uninspiring and everything about it seemed very bland. In subsequent visits, I came to like the atsmosphre and some of the appetizers but found a few of the special,... More

Being from Oregon (or Brewtopia as we call it-- where a new Microbrewrey is opens up every six months) we were sceptical about trying another Virginia "brewrey" since the first two we went to, specialized in "craft" beers that consisted of Samual Adams and Fat Tire - nice beer but commercial brands. So we were very pleasantly surprized when we... More

The beer. especially the IPA, is delicious! And they have so many different types to try with a knowledgeable staff. Don't miss their own special "pickle back shot" which is a Jameson whiskey with a shooter of their in-house made pickle juice - sounds weird, but very nice. The food is small, overpriced, rather oily/greasy, and not very fresh. We... More

This place is a must-visit for any micro-brew enthusiast. And the food is good too. Highly recommended for lunch or dinner. Location isn't my fave (Arlington/Falls Church area, blah) but it's worth driving through suburban ennui to get there.

Mad Fox is a great addition to the brew scene. Great beer and good food. The food though is only 'good' and not 'great,' as you need to know what to order. Their pizzas tend to be very good as do their specials. But some of their regular entress like the chicken pot pie and their soups tend to be... More

I like Mas Fox, mostly because I like beer and while watching sports. Slice of heaven in my book. My wife, who only joins me there for meals, doesn't like it at all. Eating at Mad Fox is like buying hardware at the grocery store. Sure, they have food, but if you want the real deal, you've come to the... More

Excellent brewery tours on the first Saturday of a month. They have unfiltered samples right out of tanks. Love the food too. Be careful when they ask you how well you want your burger cooked. They will do it exactly as you ask.
