Just a martini and the prime rib. Cheese and bread sticks do not do much. Potato is always overbaked; choose brocolli. Salad's forgettable. Stick to the prime rib! More

Aberdeen Barn knows it steaks; not only by the quality they buy, but how to prepare a steak. It was a true pleasure to dine there, service was excellent and in case you forgot, the steak was made to perfection, not over or under done, but medium rare. PERFECT! More

We went during restaurant week. My family and I were really looking forward to eating a delicious steak dinner. It felt short .... Won't be back. More

it was late and cold and my wife and I just wanted a nice meal. The restaurant was about to close but we were seated any way. The food was terrific and the staff a pleasure to do business with. More

Touted at some sites as the best restaurant in Charlottesville. It isn’t. Prefab looking exterior. Dark interior with dark wood and reds. There was one room with table clothes, but we were taken to the bar. Very beefy and manly looking room. Large bar, but no draft beer. Found that strange, Lots of bottled beer, wine and booze, but to... More

They take reservations, the low lighting is romantic, the food is good, but a bit expensive on some dishes. Sometimes the food gets cold before you finish. I do not like the stuffed seating arrangements. It can be like talking or listening to total strangers. The staff is very professional, but could be a bit more friendly and add a... More

Okay, was a bit skeptical upon notincing "Virginia's Finest Steakhouse" on the sign. Is it? Probably not. Nice historic feel inside, staff was very polite; greeted immediately. Noticed they lead younger couples to the bar area where several TVs are displayed. Breadsticks were a bit hard but the cheese was good. Server brought awesome bread later.. would have loved the...
