The food at The Bryant House Restaurant was wonderful and so was the atmosphere and service. It was a nice find when we were done with our visit to the Vermont Country Store. The Mac and cheese and open face turkey were delicious but the star of the show was the fresh Gingerbread for desert. If you are in the... More

When I use to live in the area I would come for lunch here so it was a real treat to visit again and enjoy a wonderful meal. We were visiting with friends and came to share lunch. Each of us had different selections, a sweet potato based vegetable soup, indian pudding, and of course New England clam chowder. All... More

We stopped here for lunch. Prior to our visit to the Country Store. The food was good and fresh. I heard this was a good place to eat. Now I know why. When I return, I will make it a point to visit.

We had a wonderful lunch served to us by truly superb service personnel. The food was very good, the dessert was incredible, but what really made the day was how great our server was. When we came in we were welcomed very warmly and the entire staff was ready to help us at a moment's notice. The desserts were the... More

This place is next to the Old Country Store and after a time shopping, its a great stop for lunch. A varied menu and bar with some wonderful soups and salads. Just outside is THE place go go for ice cream. Bring the family. Kids love it as well. Plenty of free parking.

My young family visited here for lunch as an adjunct to our trip to the Vermont Country Store in March, 2013. It is a nice little rustic restaurant. We were impressed with the options on the kid's menu, and there was certainly enough diversity in the main menu to keep us interested. We had chile, which came with johnnycakes and... More

We had driven most of the day through intermittent snow and were happy to arrive at the Vermont Country Store. As we started to shop, we recognized that at 3 o'clock we famished for lunch so we decided to give the little restaurant next door a try. Wow, were we tickled at our discovery. Expecting a typical tourist self service... More

When you visit the Vermont Country Store you have to stop at the Bryant House for lunch. Delicious comfort food that is reasonably priced. Never been disappointed in the food or the service. Get there early because it does get busy.
