Went recently for lunch and the food was mediocre. Had macaroni and cheese in a crock and received dried out macaroni obviously not cooked in the crock. Tasted like the box stuff. My husband's dish was served with overcooked dried out french fries. Not the quality product we are used to receiving from The Hermitage The service was excellent as...

The atmosphere and quality was just perfect, including attentive service and an impressive wine selection.
Guitar and singer performed while we enjoyed our "Hermitage wine" with cheese and flat bread (see Hermitage website for a coupon) and then devoured their salmon dinner. Lively place, excellent service and beautiufl location.
Two friends and I went to eat expecting the normal exceptional food and were gravely disappointed. The food was bland and the presentation was poor. Hi class. Top-notch all the way. Check out the $1.00 oysters 3-5pm. Nicest dining room and bar within 25 miles. Gorgeous. Top NYC chef runs the kitchen.
Anniversary dinner. Good bread and butter. Good cocktails. The lobster meat lacked both flavor and texture. Frozen? Doug provided excellent service--attentive but not intrusive. We had to skip dessert because nothing on the menu was dairy-free. OK experience overall, but for the price I expect better food.
Nice atmosphere , efficient service by young crew. Food was interesting and very well prepared (had the quail and my husbands several appetizers). Wines are expensive but of good quality.
This inn was lovely and the dining room was very elegant with sparkling white linens and china. the service was excellent, friendly, helpful, someone was always around to help, and not in an annoying way. The food was fantastic!! I had the lobster and it was delicious, my husband who doesn't normally like pork got the pork chop and he...
