The food was quite good and the service was great. Problem is I hate the setting. If you like cosy basement restaurants with a dated décor and ventilation problems , this is your place. First the good. My dad had the Scallops & Chorizo special , hold the Chorizo. Very good and a very generous portion. Second up was a... More

We were lucky to get a reservation on a Saturday night! So enjoyed the cozy atmosphere in this small restaurant and bar. Sit at the bar and chat or get your own table... Service is very attentive and the food is wonderful. They use local meats when available. Chicken Picatta is delicious! Soups are so good. There is something for... More

I found this lovely restaurant through Trip Advisor when our niece was visiting Stowe recently. The restaurants where she was staying (Stowe Mt Lodge) were just too pricey. We were so pleased with the atmosphere, our dinners, and the service at Harrisons. Everything was great! Our server was very patient with us when we hadn't even looked at the menus... More

Harrison's is a little pub in the basement of an older building on Main Street. It is cozy and warm. The food is delicious, the service wonderful and I would highly recommend that you give it a try. TIP: Make sure that you make reservations. Harrison's attracts a lot of the local folk and it is a very busy place.

The restaurant is located in a basement, so keep that in mind (no windows). The food was great, I had the steak tips with bok choy and it was awesome, the orange sesame sauce was one of the best I ever had. My husband had the filet mignon and he loved it. Great bar and fun atmosphere.

I had a great experience at Harrison's. The atmosphere was so cute and cozy. The place was packed, including the bar. The service was a little slow, but it was also packed... And our waitress was super friendly and helpful with our dinner decisions. My boyfriend got the blue cheese martini and was very pleased. I ordered the red wine... More

Overall I gave this resturant a 3 reason being we walked in at 4:30 and every table was empty and got told that because we didn't have reservations that we would have to sit at the bar and eat our dinner. After sitting down at the bar another couple without reservations came in and was told the same thing but... More

Thank you for your feedback regarding your experience. Yup, we 10% made a mistake about not having a table for you that evening. We did not look over the table chart well enough to make something work for you and for that we apoligize. We do our very best to accomodate every guest but in your situation we simply did... More

We were vacationing in Stowe and on our last night, a Friday night, we had dinner at Harrison's. We didn't realize how busy it is on a Friday night and waited until the day of to make our reservation. We weren't able to get a reservation for 2 until late but they took our phone number and did call us... More

We stopped in for an early dinner without a reservation and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. They seated us before the restaurant officially opened and served us drinks. The food was very good - we had the calamari (not as crispy as I like, and with lots of peppers mixed in), beet salad (delicious!), burgers and steak. It... More
