Food, all from local sources, and setting outstanding. I had perhaps the best chicken of my life...and I have sampled a lot of chicken! Service friendly, but sometimes a little slow so relax and enjoy the experience.

The main attraction here is the atmosphere of a turn of the century mansion sited in an extraordinary location. The dining room is very elegant but not at all stuffy. Tables are widely spaced. The menu is ambitious and for the most part the restiarnat serves delicious food. Lamb and beef are grown on the farm. Service is good for... More

Shelburne Farms was a blast to visit and postcard pretty. We included restaurant dinner after a well presented tour. The restaurant is very pretty with an awesome scenic view. We were a party of 4. The staff was courteous and polite. Food presentation done well, unfortunately my wife’s lamb came out bone cold. The waitress apologized and five minutes later... More

Located on the shores of Lake Champlain, the view of the lake and mountains is fantastic. The menu is extensive and a little pricey but the quality was very good, as well as the service. It's a little hard to find but having a gps helps.

On a day trip out of Burlington, we came across Shelburne Farms, did the tour of the place, really beautiful and my wife spots a menu up at the "big house". After cruising around the place she says lets make a reservation for brunch. What a meal ! Of Course we were slotted for almost 9am..so not the brunch "time... More

My family & I have been coming here for about 19 years. The inn is absolutely beautiful, classic & the dining room is no exception....black & white tile floor, red patterned walls & a large fireplace. I love that so many of the ingredients are sourced locally. This time around, I had the Shelburne Farms beef. Though their "medium" is... More

We had brunch here for the 2nd time last weekend. It was just lovely! The food, while not spectacular, is still very good and thoughtfully prepared with some local ingredients. My eggs benedict dish was just right and the buttermilk pancakes that someone else ordered looked very appetizing. The dining room is peaceful and elegant and the view on a... More

Just ate here on a Sunday. The food was really good because it was not the typical fare. Was really disappointed that they ran out of the corned beef hash so early. Seemed strange. I had the Market omelet and it was tasty but seemed too cool. Would have been better warmer. Also ordered the popover and it was great.... More

While we stayed in the Inn we decided to eat both our breakfasts and our dinners in the Inn's restaurant. We were not disappointed. The only thing I would say was a minor disappointment (and why I gave it a 4 star instead of a 5) is that there were no gluten free options. This is a particular disappointment in... More

This is a very nice French Restaurant with a delightful menu. The service is professional and friendly. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed. I would definitely return if I find myself in the area again.
