I rarely go out to breakfast, but I keep coming back. Love the greens, the root vegetable omelet, the classic diner plates with a healthy twist. I'll wait 20 to 30 for a seat on a busy Saturday morning, even if I'm by myself.

Can't say enough about the food here. Fresh and delicious and friendly service. The biscuits and gravy and the sausage were outstanding. I am so sorry that I hadn't discovered it before! We are a family with 3 kids and everyone found something to love. Apple butter biscuits were fantastic as well.
Absolutely go for the food, so yummy, but who doesn't love a restaurant with a ping-pong table!?!?! Such a great place, with great food, and great prices. A must and one of my favorites in Brattleboro!

Elliot Street has the best and most reasonably priced food in Brattleboro.

I highly recommend the sweet and savory sopes ----...

Buckley's- important to know because the outside of the building hasn't changed much since the building housed a nondescript corner market and deli three years ago. The lack of signage makes it...

Great, homestyle breakfast and brunch cooked to order right in the heart of town. Much more relaxed atmosphere than most town restaurants and there's a conscious effort to build community with the book swap, pool and ping pong tables, and local food.
