Went to Dirty Al's based on a recommendation from someone we met while on vacation. We have 5 ppl in our family so we ordered the Botana platter - shrimp, fish, oysters and chicken- everyone left full and it was very very good, shrimp are huge and very tasty! We will stop again on our next trip to SPI!

We had to take it to go, but the look of the line waiting to be seated said a lot. Talked with someone else waiting for a to go and he told me that his family makes Dirty Al's a part of the trip to South Padre Island. Good Fried Seafood.

Fun location right next to the docks where the dolphin watch and snorkel boats go out to the lagoon. We ate lunch and then went out to see dolphins, very convenient. The food is really good. And if you're in the mood for a drink they have drinks here too. Excellent service too.

This is where you go for the basket of fried something outta the sea that you are craving. The giant tray for $40 was served to many tables around us and gobbled up We are not all seafood lovers, so we opted for different things. Friendly service, although not the fastest.

Dirty Al's is a bar right near the marina. The food is very good and very reasonably priced. You get more than enough to eat for the price.

With a name like Dirty Al's it was a must try. Nothing fancy but the views were nice and the beer was cold. There was no issues with crowds but that was probably because it was off season.
