Some of the menu is outstanding, such as the chicken quesadillas and original queso. The fajitas are also very good. The tacos are perfectly seasoned and they give you TONS of lettuce, tomato, and taco meat. The thing that makes this place shine, however, is the staff. Without exception, the wait staff is prompt, courteous, and helpful. Outstanding examples are... More

The best hot sauce in the universe! Our family has been eating here since 1967 and never miss an opportunity to dine at Little Mexico when we are in Palestine. More

The atmosphere and food are good. The wooden benches with no cushions are too uncomfortable for me to enjoy a meal. I eat at El Toro now. More

In our family we have our 4th generation going here, who at all ages ask for Little Mexico! Is it being greeted by Richard or One of the other hosts? Or the best servers in the city? Or is it knowing that they consistently serve the same great food for years? Grown kids come in from the "Big" cities and... More

Little Mexico has been serving up hearty meals since the late 1960's. It has a unique taste many travelers may not be accustomed to -- a heartiness that fills your stomach and can put you to sleep! The items are all home cooked and service is excellent. Ownership has only been in the hands of a few families since this... More

Sing says family owned since 60's. I don't think they have bought new plates or cups since then. Food was served hot and the taste was average. I ordered the Pollo Asada and surprisingly it was not swimming in queso. Like other reviews...the salsa lacked. I would probably try another tex mex restaurant if my travels find me in Palestine... We stopped yesterday on a whim. The restaurant was dark, booths were plywood and dark. We ordered fajitas sola. $9.99 and that was what we go. Chicken breast strips on a bed of onions and peppers. The food was hot. The 'free' salsa was tomato sauce (canned) with a bit of hot pepper. Normally you get refried beans, rice, choice... More
