I had read the reviews and they said "the Strudel is a must" so I went in and said "I'll take a Apple and Cherry"! Well I must have missed the review that said they are about 24" LONG! Well I did freeze some and it does taste Great!!!

The only problem I had with this bakery was deciding what to get because they had too much to choose from. I ended up getting some cream horns and a selection of cookies. I also got a loaf of their sourdough bread. The bread was fabulous and tasted homemade. We used it for toast and just ate it out of...

I think this is the oldest bakery in the state of Texas!! I think some of the help has been here from the beginning :0> but nice - german struedel is excellent here.
I've been to Naegelin's on different visits to the area, and now it is a must-go because I have to get my strudel! On my most recent visit, I bought two strudels to take home and freeze for Thanksgiving. I bought freezer wrap and carefully wrapped them, and by the time I got home, it had been 5 days since...

There is a reason that this is the oldest bakery in Texas and it is the quality and quantiy of the selections. Their Strudel is the best I have ever had. Anytime we have out of town guest we always take them to Naegelin's.
Bakery is very good and clean. All items behind the counter seem to be fresher. Day old bread is also offered at a discount. The tortillas are not my favorite. Overall, I really lke the baked goodies!
