We split a combo plate when we came across this Marfa icon. The hummus was fantastic and the sauces on the falafel - lovingly named "Marfalafel" - were delicious.
Stopped in on Halloween 2013. There were a couple of specials, pulled pork and some shrimp tacos. Both looked really good with ample helpings, but I went with the Marfalafel since I heard it was quite the staple and it was pretty dang tasty. It did take a while to get my food, but I was warned when I ordered... More
Loved our pork tenderloin sandwich - very fresh and the French bread was wonderful. Loved sitting outside and watching the locals in Marfa go about their day.
The Food Shark food truck in Marfa is good lunch food. Fast Service under the awning in downtown Marfa by the railroad tracks. Everybody eats here. Prices are reasonable. Not many places to eat in Marfa.
Had read about Food Shark in the Lonely Planet travel guide and as we found ourselves in Marfa for a couple of hours at lunchtime we had to try it. Daily specials had sold out already but the Marfalafel and the combo plate were hot, fresh, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious! What a great place - wish they had a... More

Has the quaintness of a food truck, and is a positive for Marfa food. It's mostly vegetarian, a but I found a good turkey sandwich. I'd do it again, but only for the turkey.

I had the beef tacos and the rest of my family had pimento cheese and bacon sandwiches. We all enjoyed our food. However, it was not the exceptional food I expected. Lots of flys... More
We had just arrived into town on our motorcycles so parking was not an issue. We went at lunch time and had to wait about 20 minutes for our food. We were not disappointed. The food quality was great! And, because everyone sits at long picnic style tables, it's a great way to meet others traveling in Marfa too.
