Biscuits & Gravy, Breakfast Sandwiches, Breakfast Tacos all homemade all good. The place is clean, the owners (husband and wife) are friendly and support their community.

What a little treasure, lovely place and lovely people but especially lovely pies. We were touring texas in feb and we were told to visit here, so glad we did, we even detoured and called in on the way back from big bend for a couple more pies.

We drove to Shirley's Burnt Biscuit on our way out from Big Bend NP. We knew about their fried pies and were curious to try them. The ladies behind the counter were friendly and helpful. They have coffee, tea and fried (fruit) pies. I only drink "proper" espresso coffee and my eyes lit up when I saw the rather shiny... More

The staff was extremely helpful and our breakfast was fantastic! Highly recommend! It was within walking distance from the Gage. We will try to eat here again when we pass though.

Shirley's Burnt Biscuit is highly recommended ... don't miss it! We had their famous biscuits with gravy and sausage ... simply excellent! The small restaurant is a "mop and pop" operation, both of whom are on premises and offered friendly conversation. Be sure to also try their homemade fried pies and cinnamon rolls, and shop their adjacent antique store. It... More
