We had dinner here again this evening (last time was 5 years ago) and the steak, baked potato and salad were excellent. I was especially looking forward to the pinto beans that I had last time - not to bee - I got a cup of something cold with a few beans and some very unusual spices. Not good!

Great food, good atmosphere, a little steep but wonderful service. A long-time Kerrville favorite. You MUST save room for dessert!

Steak had great flavor from the mesquite grill. Only choice grade, not prime. The salads were premade and sitting in a glass front cooler. The owners have been here a long time, however I do not think they have been to a steakhouse in a big city in a while.

We picked it because we wanted meat. Service was fair and the wait was really long but the steak was very good and cooked just like I ask. I would go back but not at peak hours. Bar service was slow but the bartender was working her ... off.

The only time we had a country fried steak that was bland. Over priced for what you get. Slow service made followed by bland food made the wait and price not worth it. Wished we had gone to Chili's.
