I couldn't make my mind up and when it was my turn to order I blurted out brisket and so glad I did. I didn't finish all of it so I'd have room for desert. Luckily for me, I got the last piece of pecan pie. I was disappointed that for $2.50 it was only four bites and two of... More

Even though we have lived in Huntsville for awhile, we had never tried this place. We decided to get some meat to go to have for dinner later that night. We got the beef/brisket and ribs. Both were wonderful! I'm not a huge BBQ fan and I loved it. My husband and father, who both love BBQ, both really enjoyed... More

A legend in the BBQ world, its definitely worth a stop on by. Be prepared to eat-- a lot. Their all you can eat plate is usually more than enough artery clogging meat, but if you're like my old roommate, they'll fill your plate again.

This place started as a fundraiser to restore their church. They are only open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays until 6 pm, so make up your mind to go and get there! People come from all over Texas to try them. I have been here many times. It is usually worth it. There has been a time that they were mediocre,... More

I'm sure it was good back in the day to get the reputation it has, but whether it has gone down hill or just been passed up I'm not sure. For $8 I got 2 slices of cheap white bread, 2 slices of dry brisket and tasteless sausage, 2 pickle slices, and a cup of instant iced tea. Compare that... More

We ate at the restaurant because of the reviews on Trip Advisor, majority said it was excellent. We were very disappointed. The place was very old and run down. The food was not very good, and I got a stomachache afterwards.

My wife and I ate there on a Saturday afternnon. We go there just before the rush hit. Its a fairly small place so it fills up fast. The BBQ is very tender and the sauce is OK. The price is about average but dont go for the atmosphere it has none which in BBQ circles does not mean much... More

Simply put...yummy BBQ. I love the family feel of this place & the staff was extremely nice and accommodating. The food was definitely worth the visit...just good smoked flavor & delicious, tangy BBQ sauce that lingers for hours. The place is certainly nothing fancy...but who cares? We're talking BBQ here! It's comfortable & the food is delicious. I would say... More

Stopped here on a roadtrip and it was some of the best barbecue I have ever had. The sausage was smoky and juicy with a great casing snap. The ribs were meaty and the brisket was very good! I am not a fan of potato salad but could have had second helpings of this one! Yum!

Split the 3 meat plate with husband. Chicken, ribs, and sausage. Comes with potato salad, pinto beans, sliced bread, pickles, and onions. $11.50. Chicken was tasty, but dry. Sausage was juicy, and good taste. Ribs were tough. Sauce is good. Potato salad and beans ok. Plenty of food. The hook here is the friendly service, and it's association with the... More
