Cooked the way you request, a little heavy on the salt and even if you ask for it with no salt, it's on the grill. While steak houses do nothing for me, this is one I willingly go to with others and enjoy.

first time dining here on business trip. Service was exceptional. Attentive, accomodating and no request was too big. Couldn't decide between ribeye and ny strip. waiter had a great solution to get a ny strip that was more marbled to have more flavor. salad bar is fresh with nice variety, and the breads at the salad bar were excellent. good...

We’ve been going to Taste of Texas for the last 13 years, not only for family special occasions but also for business events. The place always has something new to offer. And the staff makes you feel like home. Regarding the food, the salad bar is excellent and the meat is a trip to heaven. Coming from a meat-eating country...

That is a traditional Texas steak house! The filet mignon witg garlic butter sided by the Potatoes Gratin are something you just can't explain! it is more expensive than the usual prices in Houston, but it is definitely worth a visit.
This place is really good and I am amazed that a place so large has such a good quality product. We were in town for business and brought some customers here based on a friends recommendation. The staff is very friendly, they are very attentive and the steaks were fantastic. They have a massive salad bar and they even had...

This was our "go to" place for special occasions, due to the costs. Special steaks (choose your own, if you like), great sides, lovely salad bar, great service. Even waiting an hour or so had its perks...free sodas, popcorn, and chips and salsa. I suppose the economy got to it. Still great steaks, salad bar is really good but smaller,...

really enjoyed the ribeye. You go in the back and watch the butcher cut it off. The desert are delicious especially the homemade pies. sweet potato with the do not miss. service is outstanding.
The $10 salad bar is cold and very fresh and the atmosphere with napkins and tablecloths are 1st class. Their wines go from 20 to hundredsof dollars per bottle with several hundred to chose from. Any one desert can feed two or 3 people. Wehad 1 slice of pecan pie and it was about 8" high with 3 scoops of...

The salad bar is probably one of the best around with a very large selection. There is a cheese section which has two...

I went there for a friend's birthday. The food was "okay" but priced like really good food. Later I tried to make reservations for a group event. Just as we were about to finalized the reservations, the hostess asked what type of group we are. When I told her we are a trail riding group, she quickly replied that they...
