Peli Peli’s menu will feature its signature steak, chicken and seafood cuisine created by Chef Paul Friedman. 1st mistake was me and my coworker both buying a groupon. You can only use one Groupon per table. I agree with most over priced but you do get a lot of food. Drinks are cheap starting at $10 for Peli Peli Belini which was not that great. South African Mojito is by far better. Now on to the menu.... More

My fiance and I bought the groupon and decided to drive all the way up to Peli Peli to try South African food. We walk in and the restaurant was beautiful. Our server gave us recommendations that were, for the most part delicious. I had the Peli Peli Prawns and he had the Madagascar Peppercorn Steak. Both were tasty, especially... More

Like most of the negative reviews, I will agree that the food is a bit pricey maybe a little overpriced. I had never had South African food, so I went in with an open mind not knowing what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. Their menu is mainly beef with a couple of options for seafood and chicken. The ambience... More

We made reservations and were seated as soon as we arrived. Our waitress provided a lot of information on the style of cooking as well as made a few recommendations on the side items. She did an excellent job and we all enjoyed our meals as well as our cocktails. The portions were large and I filled up very quickly.... More

I am shocked this restaurant is rated so highly. Once more, it confirms my suspicioun that the local crowds don't really have a palate for good, sophisticated food. Peli Peli food is boring, rather pricey, and sounds better than it tastes. Go once for the ambience and to say you have been.Unremarkable is the word that springs to mind, but... More

We eat out a lot so it is refreshing when there are unique items on the menu. I ordered the Sea Bass (normally I get steak when eating out) and it was so delicious! My friend got steak and it looked fantastic too. I plan to go back as soon as possible!

The place is nice, food is okay (my slow cooked beef was too sweet and salty and the peppers were too much). Wine and food is a little pricy. Someone like me who lives far, i didnt think it was worth of a drive. Or maybe ill try the other menu next time. Plus: They have a live band and... More

This place was fun, with quality food, and an excellent wine selection. Surf and turf was perfect, steak prepared just right, and the prawns huge and tender. Only knock is that the group next to us was so noisy, it was impossible to carry on a conversation all night...

I used to come to this restaurant once a week just for the cheesecake - sooo goood!!! flavour, texture, size is all perfect! Food is good too - I like the cuscus and usually order the fish rice might be too seasoned to my taste (since I like to enjoy good taste without an overwhelming strong flavour - unless is... More

Tried Mothers Day Brunch. A bit pricy but OMG good. The presentation of the food is amazing and the food was off the charts. Had the Huguenot Filet with South African Eggs Benedict. Wow!
