We went here when Hammond's Barbque was closed one time, and were pleasantly surprised. The food was good and in ample portions. Price wasn't bad either.

Friendly service, good sized portions. Not a lot of choices on meat types. At lunch peak, the beef brisket wasn't ready yet. It wasn't that they ran out, it just wasnt ready. Chicken fried steak was well seasoned and was so tender I could easily cut it with the plastic butter knife. BBQ brisket was perfect. I've lived in Texas all my life but recently moved to Louisiana.
