The décor is slightly tired but the food and service were fine. A stone's throw from Union Station and about five minutes' walk from the Omni.

I am not normally a fan of buffet meals for a variety of reasons; however, the lunch buffet at Texas Spice is an exception to the rule.
The food is freshly prepared from the local markets and features many healthy selections. The variety of salads and vegetable dishes keeps me coming back. The meat courses are well seasoned and healthy....

The food was good but the prices can be a bit pricey considering the type of hotel that it is attached to. The hotel at best is no more than a 2-3 star hotel attached to a restaurant that seems to have prices of a 3-4 star hotel restaurant. The restuarant is convienient for patrons staying at the attached hotel...

My father stayed at the Lawrence Hotel where this place is located. The food was good, the cost was a bit $$. We where a party of five and they automatically added the tip.
My daughter and I ate here on a Saturday night when we stayed at the Hyatt. It completely surpassed my expectations. My daughter got the fillet and it was a great cut of steak. It is every bit as good as a Morton's or Capital Grille steak at a much better price (but without the ambiance). I had a chicken...

The Founders Grill is attached to the Hotel Lawrence where I was staying. The atmosphere is acceptable and the food is average quality. The bar is somewhat limited. They didn't have any single malt scotch. The service is average.
A group of us were on a business trip to downtown Dallas at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. We did not have cars so decided to walk for dinner and went to Founders.
One thing that surprised me was that they had no draft beer at all, not even local brews.
Another was high prices, like $19 for a Cesar Salad...

Great food but crappy crappy service. Our bartender complained about working at the restaurant to the other bartender and would be on his cell phone texting when he wasn't complaining.
This place has good food. A friend and I had dinner there over the holidays. There was only one other table occupied. We had great service and possibly the best ribeye I have eaten. The meal was delicious and the price reasonable. Parked on the street but there is a lot adjacent. Located in downtown near the Metro station.
Because of "Sandy", we could not complete our trip and got off the train at Dallas. We had not been there before. The service and food at this restaurant were wonderful. We chose it because it was near our hotel.
