Usually booked 2 months in advance and we were lucky to get a 6pm reservation on a Thursday night (the concierge at the Ritz Carlton said it was their most difficult restaurant to book). Arrived 15 minutes late because the cabbie was confused about the address but the hostess (owner) was not upset and seated us. Corkage is not allowed.... More

Very good quality and table service. Small place (maybe11 table tops plus food bar) explains the LONG wait for reservations. The oysters for appetizer on half shell were to die for - some of the most delicate & tasty I have ever tasted. Veal chops were fantastic, wine selection great BUT pricey for the offerings. Parking is limited but I... More

Small but mighty LUCIA in Oak Cliff just south of downtown Dallas is a fantastic treat for lovers of real Italian food. One feels like they are in someone's home especially sitting on a banquette out of the way of the waitstaff traffic. I waited six weeks for our mid week reservation and it was well worth it. First you are... More

I'm still kinda learning about this Bishop Arts district. Like. They put great care into what they create here. Do try the pasta, and the veal chop with Polenta. Scrumdillumptious. 5* (Fuenf stern fuer alles da). Service is real good too. The setting is comfortable and semi-rustic. .

This is a little jewel of a restaurant. Tiny, we were lucky to get a table without reservations! Probably because we got there really early. Very nice, informal but elegant atmosphere. Great wines, excellent food and wonderful presentatiion. Totally recommend this place!

I had kind of assumed that this place was overrated, as has been my experiences with highly rated restaurants in the past. Lucia is not overrated. I had been trying to get a reservation for a few months ~ next to impossible. This place is teeny tiny. My friend and I ended up just getting there about 5 pm to... More

Just finished dining at Lucia's. Truly an amazing experience. The Rabbit was tremendous. Quail fantastic. Did i mention that the pork-chop was enormous and flavorful? Our wait staff was knowledgable with excellent recommendations. Place is small with just a few tables and sort of out of the way. But worth every the trip.

Excellent meal with attentive service and friendly staff. Intimate setting with limited, but changing menu. The Salumi at the start is a must. All of the first and second courses the 4 of us ordered were fantastic. I do not see this restaurant as limiting itself to a single style or label -- meaning some of it was a classic... More

This is a tough reservation to get. Our friends had been a couple of time before and knew the drill to get a reservation -- calling the first day of the month at 9:30 to get a reservation the following month if I remember right. We were thrilled to not have to do the work but be included. I love,... More

Quaint SMALL restaurant in the Bishop Arts (Oak Cliff) district. Hard to get reservations both weekdays and weekends with weekends being booked 2 months in advance. Oustanding appetizers with the salumi (home cured meats) being top notch. For $1, you must try the foie gras stuffed prune. Not a fan of either but it was excellent!!! The main entrees vary... More
