It's a chain, you're limited to one kind of food , but great atmosphere, pleasant and efficient staff and delicious burrito's make this a great place,,,
On the Border at this location is usually busy, very good menu, and waitstaff, and always is a good experience. Their specials, the seasonal shrimpfest, are awesome. Any of the menu items are usually reliable, although I lean toward a shrimp fajita or chicken enchilada.
My son who is a freshman at UT Austin is a big fan of Tex Mex. We have tried various restaurants in the DFW and Austin metropolitan areas and we always come back to On The Border -- it is no doubt our favorite restaurant. Reasonably priced dishes that simply taste great and their signature salsa is the best. On... More
While there are at least 3 other Mexican food options within a 1/2 mile (not including fast food), we have made some real attempts to give OTB a try. It's been my opinion that the menu is a little uninspired and the layout at this location is prone to having a bunch of people crowding the front door during any... More
Food is bland and tasteless. Chips and salsa taste like baby food. Service? What service? You'd have to offer me big bucks to go back to this very disappointing venue. I've tasted way better from roach coaches.
Visited this restaurant with about 20 other friends this week. I tried the new Baja which is avocada deep fried along side beans, rice, enchilada. Loved this new plate but the highlight was the margaritas. I had a couple of the "house" margaritas and they were great! Hostess was awesome also.
We have been going to the Bedford OTB for many years. With all the 183 construction mess, we were happy they were staying in the same location, just building a new OTB directly behind the old one. Last week they closed for the week of relocating. Opened on Monday, and we thought we would give the new building a try.... More

We actually had planned to go to Razoo's next door- but it isn't there anymore- lost their property to the highway expansion. On the Border is another favorite for us because we like the patio. The staff is very helpful and courteous. I tried the deepfried avacado appetizer- YUM. And the new mole sauce on the pork enchilades was excellent.... More
Dined in a few days ago with a few colleagues after work. Good food, fast service and huge portions. The restaurant needs some work, not the cleanest place on earth, tables are kind of sticky and greasy. If you can pass this aspect with respect to the lack proper restaurant spotness then you have a pretty good and inexpensive lunch... More
