I tried their speciality coconut cream pie. It looked great, but I was underwhelmed. Perhaps my expectations were too high.
Went there with my wife and her Aunt and Uncle. They frequent there when they visit TN and we can see why. Small but in a nice are of the city. Will go back in May of 2012 when we visit again.
My fiance and I came here after reading some Trip Adviser reviews. We were not lead astray! This was probably our favorite restaurant during our entire stay. We liked it so much, we came back a second time! Tasty food and large portions. We tried the club sandwich and the BBQ pulled pork. Both were tasty. the home-style fries were... More
We really enjoyed our experience at this restaurant. Our server was very friendly and hospitable. The food was wonderful. We had: chicken strips. hamburger, open-faced roast beef, club, the loaded chips, and pork BBQ. All of them were fantastic! The sides were great, especially the baked beans and jalapeno cornbread. If we are in the area again, we will definitely... More
We had dinner here one night on Spring Break with my family. Each one of us (ages ranging from 7 to 42) all agreed the food was fantastic. Our dishes ranged from pork chop with pralines/butter pecan sauce to French onion soup to hamburgers to chicken tenders. Everything was utterly delicious and perfect. It was the best pork chop I... We are always worried about eating out in these tourist towns where people are treated as cattle. Fortunately this delightful cafe/grille was excellent. The grounds were beautifully maintained this first day of Spring and the entire area is very welcoming just off the main drag through town. We were promptly seated and the flavored iced tea list was asked for. A... More
This has become our favorite lunch spot. The food is wonderful, service is great and if dining during the spring - fall season, you must dine outside in the garden area, beautiful.
Very disappointed in my meal. My hubby's meal was better. I had the chicken salad sandwich thatcame on white bread was suppose to be cranberry bread, homemade chips (ok), fresh fruit cup had canned pineapple, grapes, an orange and a strawberry, overly sweet tea. And I love sweet tea. Hubby had BBQ plate. BBQ very salty. Beans were GREAT and... More
I have lived in this area all my life and have missed this restaurant. We ate there today and was amazed. It is so unlike any area restaurants, moderately priced, large servings, and delicious food. The chicken fingers were fresh pieces of chicken and the honey mustard was wonderful. My husband had the pork tenderloin lunch special and it was... More
One of the great things about visiting the Sevier county area is that most servers are locals, enabling a good down home experience in even the largest of chain restaurants. The Pottery House Cafe isn't a large chain but it is consistently good. The landscaping is gorgeous and if there's a wait, your buzzer will notify that your table is... More
