The next night we went in early, before service started and found a table and waited. It paid off for as soon as service started it was full again. Good food and a good house red wine, with... More

It was not as good as I expected it to be. The food was pretty average and I think it could be better.

Booked in to to this historic local inn for a Saturday night treat and as usual were not disappointed. We opted for the 21 day locally sourced 21 day aged steaks. They were full of flavour and not like some where traceability is unsure. The meal was hot with real chips and fresh veg. When the soup arrived the smell of the stock was... Good selection of beers and excellent food, the rack of Lamb was delicious and the cheese board was excellent but maybe a few more cracker would have been nice.

Lovely old pub which is a pleasure to visit. Good quality food and enough to keep you going. A mixture of locals and visitors eating and drinking creating a great atmosphere.

We had just walked the first 12 miles of the West Highland Way & were looking for a good eating house. We found the Clachan Inn on the picturesque green in Drymen. I had the venison casserole, which was very tasty. My wife tried the Lamb & Rosemary burger which too was very nice. (we do not eat burgers very... More

Visited here on day 1 of the WHW. Great service and really nice food. We had the garlic prawns for starters followed by the beef and lamb burgers. No frozen chips here..!! Desert was delicious, my son had the toffee fudge sundae and I had the raspberry and white choc cheesecake. Thoroughly recomended.
