Morning coffee, cakes and scones on the decking, the perfect start to the day, or two days to be precise. Staff very helpful and friendly. Filled rolls available for taking out and delicious when eaten on the Paps. We would definitely have eaten here had there been evening opening. What we had on our two visits was home made, delicious... More

Calling in on a Sunday afternoon with only the Jura Hotel for hospitality on the island, a notice said coffee was only between 3.00 and 4.00 pm. The chef had had to be allowed time off given as the reason but the English owner had no intention of serving you herself. Meals did not seem to be available at all... More

What a brilliant little tearoom with fabulous home baking and lovely lunches with the advantage of serving till 6. Giving an insight into the history of the island and its inhabitants with local crafts on sale too. We will definitely be returning for an evening meal on Friday or Saturday on our next visit. This is a a tourist office,... More

Excellent food, friendly service and just a wonderful place to spend a few hours. I would highly recommend a visit or two if you are ever lucky enough to visit this wonderful island. More

A great wee tea room (they do evening meals too) with a good range of lunch options and fabulous cream teas! Right in the heart of the main village with views across the bay from it's terrace, it's a pleasant spot to enjoy the sunshine (if you're lucky) and a cuppa. More

A lovely lunch here this weekend. The new owner has changed the menu and the seating round a little and both work much better. We even took advantage of the sporadic sunshine to sit outside and enjoy the views whilst tucking into our toasties. There was a good basic menu and several specials on the day we went. Our friends... More

We ate here twice over the easter weekend (once for lunch and once for dinner) and loved the tasty food and friendly welcome. Amazing cup cakes :), great veggie options and mouthwatering local scallops! It was certainly a popular place when we visited but the service was quick and friendly despite being rushed off their feet. The gift shop has... More

Went in - 8 people - for lunch or a sandwich Ignored for 10 minutes while staff talked together Then told - no tables! Absolutely Rude Why turn away a bit of business Sounds a bit jaundice I know, but we came from Islay - complete contrast in attitudes and ospitality Bring packed lunch and enjoy fabulous scenery and wildlife!!! We had a lovely lunch at the Antlers while we were visiting Jura. One of the best tips we got was to try the soups in Scotland at every opportunity which we did, and the offering at the Antlers was not a disappointment. The food and service were delightful, the local crafts available on site were so tempting I had... More

Great - we loved this restaurant. Great menus, good value, no licence but you can bring your own drinks. More
