It is disappointing to hear that you felt forgotten about sitting outside, unfortunately as the weather is so unpredictable we do only offer bar service for outside, and most people are happy to just relax and not feel bothered by staff while enjoying the sun. However, if you are dining again and wish to sit outside then just let a... More

Food ok but service is abysmal, very slow sometimes you think going backwards! Service always with a smile and friendly staff but the kitchen must need better organised or more chefs!

Sorry to hear that you felt the service was slow on this occasion, we do appreciate you taking the time to leave a review, and take comments on board. Despite what many people think, we do cook the majority of dishes in our kitchen from fresh, some taking longer than others. If in future you have limited time, our staff... More

Popped in for a quick lunch. Food was ok, but service was a tad on the slow side. It was bank holiday Monday though, so that may ave led to delay. Not convinced value for money was best either, best part of £30 for a quick sandwich for three of us.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Noting your comments on price, we do run our two main meals for £9.95 all day every day, as well as a golden years menu which is only £7.95 for three courses (monday to friday all day). We appreciate that you recognise it was very busy on bank holiday monday... More

My husband and i dined here and enjoyed every morsel. We had a portion of olives and a portion of bread and oils to start with, the olives were lovely as were the bread and dipping oils. For my main i had Balmoral chicken with chips, the chicken was a wee teensy bit dry but still very tasty with the... More

Good menu. Not expensive. Handy for town centre. Good spot to break up a shopping trip and meet friends.

Decided to go for lunch on Saturday as a treat. They must have had the heating up full blast as not exactly cold outside they had hot air blowing out of every vent. Anyway it took ages for the food to arrive by that time our 2yr old was too hot and past eating. This led to her being very... More
