This is a brilliant restaurant with great food and very friendly staff who are always there for your every need! The quote "Lacks Imagination" is very harsh indeed. We made an unscheduled stop for lunch to this unasumming little gem and were amply rewarded with an enticingly presented platter of goodies.Would highly recommend the Coastal Platter. Its a wonderful mixture of continental and local foods. Staff (Mark) were attentive, polite and friendly and the views from the conservatory were stunning. One to return to without a doubt !! More

We have eaten here many times & always been pleased with the food . Alas not so this year . The food is very lacking in imagination .Infact the menu is almost unchanged in 12months! This restaurant is beautifully situated on the East coast of Arran in Whiting bay. We had a rather Mediterranean style lunch in the conservatory watching the gannets dive, with Holy Isle and the we st coast as a backdrop and the food and service did the view justice. Great food, excellent staff, very reasonable prices, not to be missed. No pressure just sit back and enjoy with great views from conservatory or outside area which is well sheltered. More
