I have dined quite a few times at this unique if somewhat quirky restaurant, and I can say that it never disappoints. We had been staying on the mainland prior to our arrival on Arran and dined at a rather famous Michelen star restaurant. Give me the home cooked, wholesome, delicious, interesting, and value for money food at Trafalgar compared...

Extensive choice for vegetarians - this is so rare! Delicious food served by the unique waiter/owner, cooked by his talented wife. A meal to be enjoyed by all the family.

On our recent visit to Arran we dined at The Trafalgar Restaurant, Whiting Bay. This surpassed our expectations. The food was cooked to perfection, steak, sea-bass, venison, such quality. Mine host Wolfi, with his quirky humour added to the ambience of our visit. Gege, his wife, must take the credit for cooking the totally delicious food. A "must" if visiting...

When I pointed out to him that by law he could not refuse us entry he suddenly remembered that everybody in the house was allergic...

A very relaxing experience with particularly fine seafood and fish dishes beautifully presented. Mine host is very amusing and entertaining, whilst his wife Gigi is an outstanding cook
