Wineport is ideally situated at the start of one of the many paths up to Goatfell. We called here on our return and were fortunate to catch them just before service for cooked food closed for the day (2.30pm). We had a homemade pizza and a portion of chips, the pizza was excellent, really tasty, the dough was light and... More

We visited the Wineport twice during our stay on Arran (we'd have gone again if we'd been there longer!) and each time were met with warm and friendly service. The beer (Arran Ale on draught) was excellent and the menu offred simple, well-presented food that we all enjoyed. It is such a pity that they don't open in the evenings!... More

I visited Wineport with a couple of firends in July. The menu was wide enough to provide interest and options and I found teh prices very reasonable indeed. The food we recieved was of a really good standard and I couldn't fault the waiting staff. Like another of the reviewers we were fortunate enough to visit Arran amongst a short... More

Recently had lunch with friends and enjoyed the sunny weather by sitting outside on the numerous tables / benches. Decor inside is attractive but why stay indoors when the sun is shining. Order for food and drinks was taken at the bar and delivered to us outside by friendly waitress. Large menu ranging from sandwiches right through to substantial main... More

A lunch time visit. We were greeted with a very abrupt young lady who wouldn't let us sit where we wanted and placed us in a corner. We did not receive a friendly welcome and it was not until we paid the bill and left that we were treated to anything resembling a smile or any warmth. The young lady... More

Had a really nice lunch here. The menu was short and straight-forward - like the best kind of pub - and everything was well-made and the portions were nicely judged. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming on a cold wet day. There is a disabled loo with some baby-changing facilities. More

My husband and I had lunch in Wineport in Arran on Saturday and I would have no hesitation in recommending this. It is owned by the family who own the Brodick Bar on the Island which is a fab place to eat. We had lunch outside, our first this year - it has been a looooong winter! Its a wee... More

Having a brief holiday in Arran,we decided in advance to search the Web for restaurants in Brodick.Weren't too impressed with what was on offer at that time (end of July) but The Wineport seemed a possibility as prices seemed reasonable Called in on the morning of our arrival for morning coffee and were so very impressed with the evening menu...
