We didn't book and found the pub very busy. Bar staff very attentive and said a table would be ready in 20 minutes and gave us updates..just giving your table their bill...just clearing table etc which let us know we hadn't been forgotten, which giving how busy they were was great. Good menu and selection of specials. Homemade soup gorgeous... More

While staying in Georgeham with friends we often visited this pub for drinks and food. The staff are very friendly, and it has a good atmosphere. The food is very good but you are squeezed in a bit during peak times. All the food was excellent and the four adults and four kids had a great time. If you are... More

We found this lovely place almost by accident. On an overcast day during our short vacation last week we decided to explore the little villages and countryside around Croyde Bay, where we were staying. We decided to stop off at this pub to have a drink and were so captivated by its ambience that we booked a table for the... More

The multitalented barmaid pulled my pint, took my lunch order and served the food - and she looked really happy to be there. It was a joy to be served by her. The food was excellent, the interior pleasant, the village pretty.............It is difficult to see how this could be improved.

The main pub in the village with events on most weekends all the way through the year. Excellent food, love the fish. I had sea bass from the specials melt in the mouth amazing. Very welcoming to families and great atmosphere. Highly recommended. Wish I could go more often.

I found this pub on TA as I wanted to book a table for Easter Sunday whilst we were on holiday. The food was lovely, the service excellent and the staff were really polite and efficient. We will definitely be going back.

Brilliant village pub with great food and beer. Dog friendly despite one of ours getting a bit vocal! Very much enjoyed our couple of visits for a drink and dinner.

Fantastic meal (roast beef) with numerous vegetables. Wood burner meant the pub was lovely and warm and meals on a sunday are served all day. Very convenient as we were coastal footpath walking and didn't eat until 3pm.

We have been to the KA on a few occasions for lunch which has been great but this was the first time we had been for dinner (and without kids). We booked, which I would advise, certainly during holiday season and weekends. The village car park was full but we parked on the roadside - in a sensible place of... More
