Style of cooking is slightly old fashioned, but good ingredients, particularly seafood, take this place a long way. Portion size is huge - be aware that if you have a starter, it may be a struggle to finish the dessert! And the lobster bisque is to die for......! Not cheap, but very good quality and conveniently situated on the seafront.... More

Le Nautique has a great seafood (and meat) menu, and everything is prepared beautifully. The restaurant is across from the harbour for good views. Excellent service, great wine list, good decor and ambiance.

We always visit Le Nautique on our visits to Guernsey. Whilst you can't fault the fish dishes, I request a 'rare' steak and it came more medium to well done. It is rather expensive and we were particularly aggrieved to find that we were charged £7.50 for a jug of tap water. Watch out for the extras when you are... More

We are staying at Old Government House Hotel that is high quality eating but went here saturday evening and found it superb. All three courses divine taste, presentation and with attentive polite service. Chef is the owner and the whole set up is very good. Highly recommended and priced correctly and acceptable for this quality.

My husband and I had lunch here on a sunny day recently and really enjoyed it. We sat upstairs and had local fish which was delicious, preceded by a light and beautifully presented starter. The service was quick and discreet. I thought it lived up to its reputation and was good value.

went on a Monday night at end of April. Very busy, lots of buzz. 6 of us eating, two had the chateaubriand, brought to the table, but carved in the kitchen, but beautifully cooked and generous. The rest of us had the brill iwth prawns in beurre blanc, very good although prawns could have had a couple of minutes less.... More

Good menu with plenty of choice which did not quite deliver. Best summed up as clumsy food. The portions were large with little finesse, and overall whilst the service and general atmosphere did not lack, a little more refinement of portions and sauces would be an improvement. I did have a side portion of dauphinois potatoes that was tasteless with... More

I had a nice evening here with my wife recently. Nothing spectacular by any means but nice all the same. It is a seafood restaurant and does well with the local catch but I was just hoping for a little more Wow. Went for a business lunch two days later and it was better than the dinner. Upstairs doesn't quite... More

We booked a table weeks ahead of a trip to Guernsey. We were given a small table at the back of the room facing the coffee maker & a crockery cupboard. We asked if we could move but were refused despite the place being nearly empty at the time. We were very disappointed & had no option but to leave.... More
